The Concord count is sad to announce that Wayland coordinator Nicky Patterson died peacefully on July 12, 2022. Nicky loved the CBC and was a spirited participant in the field and in his leadership role for over thirty years. He was a well-known volunteer at Heard Farm and made many friends there. We will miss Nicky and all the swamp sparrows and Eastern screech-owls he recruited for the Wayland team.
